Keri is an incredible instructor. She is kind, patient, creative and insanely talented! Keri is incredibly sensitive to the needs of her students and can teach a class mix of complete beginners and really experienced students with ease, giving each student something that challenges their individual ability and managing to support them all equally. This is just a testament to her talent and creativity! Keri is so passionate and is constantly pushing herself and learning new things. As a student, this is amazing as she shares all of this with you, bringing new moves, combos and techniques to all of her classes.

If you get a chance to train with Keri, do it! Before she gets swept across the world and is only in the UK once a year!

I’m not a gym person and before starting Pole my main exercise was walking to work. I started Pole Classes with Keri having never done anything like it before and didn’t really know what I was letting myself in for. Was the class going to be full of beautiful young superfit people and would I look a fool? I needn’t have worried. From the start, Keri was supportive and fully invested in each member of the class and their progress no matter what size, age or shape. She instinctively knew when to coax me and always recognised when I could try harder. With one class a week for 16 weeks she got me from barely hanging on the pole a few inches off the ground to inverts and climbing to the top with ease. My fitness level, body tone and confidence is better than ever. A year and a half later I am still learning Pole with this lovely lady.

Keri is quite simply inspirational. I came to see her as a crossfitter-turned calisthenics practitioner looking to increase my mobile strength and get ideas for a mobility flow to be more productive and prevent injury. She has the gift of ‘the eye’ and spots the holes in your movement and figures out great scaled progressions for you..even if you’re a stiff weightlifter 🙂

Anyway, back to the inspirational thing…More than anything, what comes across is her sheer love and drive for pole and bodyweight movement. You can see the 1000s of hours of drills and concentration and such creativity in the flows and shapes she performs. With her tuition, you just want to work harder and get it right and you get so many little nuggets of adjustments and tips. Defo book on with her, you’ll get great guidance and encouragement and well, imagine the shapes you’ll be doing!

Do I need any experience?

You do not need any experience. Pole is suitable for everyone and anyone pending a standard health assessment form, with the exception of women who have given birth in the last 3 months.

What should I wear?

Please wear a pair of shorts and a vest top, and avoid using moisturiser or hand creams.

What should I expect?

A typical class starts with a thorough warm-up with pole targeted conditioning, spins, tricks and combinations followed by a cool down. It is a fitness class but one like you’ve never experienced before!

Do I need to be strong?

Short answer, no! Come with any level of strength and we will develop it together.

Do I need to be flexible?

Short answer, no! Come with any level of flexibility and we will develop it together.
